The Analytic Transformation & Governance team is the central pillar for propelling a rapid transformation within the recently formed Commercial Analytics & AI (CAAI) organization at Pfizer. This organization is made up of various functional areas including Insight Strategy & Execution, Market Research Insights, Data Science and AI, and Analytic Engineering. Our core objective is to facilitate and guide this organization through its transformative journey by delivering crucial initiatives, tools, and capabilities. As a key player in Pfizer's commercial transformation, our team takes the lead in defining and driving critical analytic priorities and governance necessary to achieve our goals.This is an individual contributor role.ROLE SUMMARYThe Director of Strategy and Planning will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and planning of Commercial Analytics & AI initiatives by establishing clear strategic priorities and driving execution effectiveness that address key business challenges and drive growth to deliver on business objectives.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Support the Sr. Director of Strategy and Planning in the development and execution of the Commercial Analytics and AI strategy, aligning it with the overall business strategy and objectives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including field force, marketing, analytics engineering, data science, market research and insights and execution functions to identify opportunities for leveraging AI and analytics to drive business performance.Design, organize and conduct workshops and meetings to drive priorities and alignment on goals, success metrics, key milestones and roadmaps.Develop and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of analytics initiatives and drive adoption across the organization.Develop, lead and monitor the schedule, agendas and content development for business review sessions across analytics teams.Empower teams to execute and deliver on the strategy, plans, objectives and goals of capabilities and product portfolio by providing best practices facilitating meetings and workshops to drive collaboration and delivery.Develop and present clear and compelling business cases, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership, utilizing strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including the ability to create well designed and executed presentations.Work with Senior Leaders and Executives across marketing and digital to drive alignment and influence strategy, planning priorities and coordinating intake requests.Act as strategy and planning liaison for Commercial Analytics for cross functional initiatives.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).10+ years of experience in strategic roles, such as management consulting, product management, or related fields.Proven track record of successfully leading and executing strategic initiatives and projects.Strong understanding of commercial analytics, AI, and related technologies.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to diverse audiences.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.High level of adaptability and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSIndepth industry knowledge of the biopharmaceutical industry and specifically in the context of Commercial Analytics and experience working across disciplines such as Data Science, Market Research, Insights and Execution and Analytics Engineering.Ability to effectively communicate with senior leadership and executives without extensive preparation.Expert in data analysis and interpretation for strategic decision-making and ability to communicate with a diverse set of stakeholders.Strong visual communication skills including the ability to quickly distill complex information and transform data into a narrative presentations.Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS Limited travel as neededRelocation support providedWork Location Assignment: HybridThe annual base salary for this position ranges from $149,200.00 to $248,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
