Role Objective
LIV Golf is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Ticket Optimization to lead our ticket sales and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in driving ticket sales and revenue growth in the sports or entertainment industry. This role will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive ticket marketing strategy that maximizes ticket sales and optimizes revenue across all LIV Golf events while also focusing on ticket inventory and maximizing revenue through dynamic pricing.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a comprehensive ticket marketing strategy for all global events that encompasses all aspects of the ticket sales funnel, from awareness to purchase.
* Oversee ticket marketing activities, working in unison with Marketing team around digital marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, direct mail, and partnerships.
* Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
* Make recommendations on pricing, baselined off of key KPIs and revenue targets.
* Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the ticketing industry and where there may be uniqueness by market
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the marketing, events, partnerships, and content teams, to ensure alignment and maximize ticket sales.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key external partners, including ticket consolidators, secondary ticket platforms, dynamic pricing tools, agencies, and media outlets.
* Collaborate with venue host and club to maximize opportunities with members and local databases.
* Oversee inventory management to maximize revenue opportunities while providing necessary inventory for internal business needs.
* Lead and mentor members of Ticket Optimization team.
* Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in ticket marketing and sales.
Experience
* 8+ years of experience in ticket optimization, sales and marketing, preferably in the sports or entertainment industry.
* Proven track record of success in driving ticket sales and revenue growth.
* Strong understanding of the ticketing industry and best practices in ticket marketing and sales.
* Proven success recommending, managing, executing ticket on-sales and campaigns.
* Experience with digital marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, and direct mail.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong leadership and management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The hiring range for this position in New York ranges from $135,000.00-145,000.00 USD.
