Find your place in technology on #TeamAmex.Within the Technology Portfolio Management team, the Director of Product Management for Portfolio Tools will lead a team responsible for driving transformation of our portfolio toolset forward, optimizing customer experience and creating efficiencies in support of the Tech portfolio planning for the enterprise.In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and management of critical internal tools that optimize our technology investment management across the enterprise. You will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from strategy formation to product deployment and iteration, ensuring these tools meet user needs and enhance our business operations. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across functions, drive strategic decisions based on robust data analysis, and lead change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption. Your leadership will directly contribute to our mission of transforming enterprise-level management tools, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability within your team.This is a hybrid role based in New York; Hybrid colleagues work a mix of in-office and virtual days, coming into the office 3 days per week. Leaders and colleagues will plan common days for in-person connection, collaboration, and events.What you ll do:Product Strategy and Vision: Develop a clear vision and strategic product roadmap for internal tools that support portfolio management, focusing on scalability, user efficiency, and integration with existing systems.Partner Collaboration: Work closely with Portfolio, Engineering, Product, and Business leaders to ensure that the tools developed are well-aligned with their needs and the company s strategic goals. Facilitate regular feedback loops to capture and prioritize user requirements and enhancements.Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the tools and make data-driven decisions for future improvements.Change Management and Adoption: Lead change management efforts to promote adoption of these tools across the organization. Develop training programs and documentation to assist users in transitioning to new or updated tools.Team Leadership: Build and manage a team of product managers and analysts dedicated to creating and refining these critical internal products. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.Who you are:Product Management Expert: Proven experience in managing software or technology products, ideally within an enterprise setting managing internal tools.Analytical and Strategic: Ability to analyze complex data, understand user needs, and translate them into effective product solutions.Communicative and Collaborative: Strong interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building relationships with key partners and leading cross-functional teams.Technologically Savvy: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project/financial management tools such as Jira, Clarity, Apptio, Rally or similar.Change Leader: Skilled in change management, capable of guiding large teams through transitions and fostering widespread adoption of new tools and processes.Qualifications:Minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing technology-based products.Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent. Master s degree preferred.Experience with portfolio management tools and financial scenario modeling is highly desirable.QualificationsSalary Range: $145,000.00 to $230,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
