Upside is hiring a Director, Total Rewards to oversee and optimize our comprehensive compensation and benefits programs. This strategic player-coach role will manage and run all aspects of US payroll, US benefits, compensation structures, and bonus and equity administration. You will bring a deep understanding of Total Rewards strategy, coupled with hands-on expertise in payroll management and benefits administration. You will report to our Head of People.

This is a hybrid role based in either our Washington, D.C. or NYC office. To start, in-office attendance is required twice a week, and it may increase based on project-based needs and/or changes in Upside's in-office policy.
Compensation:
The base salary for this full-time position is $181,000-$200,000 USD per year + bonus (for certain roles) + equity + benefits. The final starting pay will be determined based on job-related qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
