As an agency representative, provides program education to various community organizations for the purpose of foster parent recruitment and services for minors. Provide clinical, administrative and staff development support to staff and monitor the quality of service delivery in compliance with contract and jurisdictional regulations for foster care programs.Essential Functions•Maintain current knowledge of the U.S. Resettlement Program; •Maintain current knowledge of all Refugee and Immigrant Services; •Develop and maintain written guidelines governing program operations •Participate in public speaking engagements related to adoption and services provided by the organization;•Participate in outreach activities for the purpose of promotion awareness of and advocacy of foster care and marketing services; •Provide leadership, coaching, support and supervision to program staff, interns and contractors;•Monitor and manage program expenses; •Prepare monthly reports and monthly statistical data;•Develop and maintain relationships with placement provider agencies; •Manages the day to day operations of the program; •Provide leadership, mentoring, support and supervision to all program staff, interns and volunteers to ensure the provision of quality services; •Coordinate and/or direct program services within contract guidelines; •Assist in the development of program budgets and proposals, and monitors program spending; •Collaborate with finance department; authorize payments for client services and monthly invoicing and reconciliation process with ONS; •Coordinates completion, approval and submission of program reports; •Develop and maintain relationships with individuals, businesses, governmental and nongovernmental organizations to coordinate the provision of seamless service to refugee minors; •As necessary, convene meetings with voluntary agencies, and other area service providers; •Promote awareness of the refugee resettlement program and the URM to the community at large; •Attend all conferences, seminars, and meetings related to program activities; •Participate in agency and staff meetings and in-service trainings; •Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, the Council on Accreditation and jurisdiction standards; •Develops an ongoing communication, support and training plan for staff and foster parents that ensures children and families are receiving the best possible care; •Other duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation •Master's Degree in Social Work with clinical licensures in DC and MD (LCSW)Experience•2+ years of supervisory experience •Case management experience•Experience and knowledge in the Foster Care Services in DC and MDOther Requirements•Valid driver's license•Clean driving record•A personal vehicle or access to a vehicle is a plus; valid vehicle insurancePreferred Skills•Knowledge of the United States Resettlement Program;•Ability to supervise a diverse staff; •Excellent oral, written and inter-personal communication skills; strong public speaking/presentation skills; •Proficient in MS Office suite, Email-Google mail a plus, Windows 7; •Attention to detail and accuracy; strong organizational skills; •Ability to promote professional growth for program staff•Knowledge of community resources and services systems•General knowledge of fiscal management•Ability to operate and manage a culturally diverse workplace•Spanish speaking
