GCS partners with corporate and small business clients to help them manage cash flow and increase profitability through a variety of automated expense management tools. The Underwriting Advisory Team (UWA) drives revenue in GCS through personalized client and sales engagement to identify the right set of credit treatments to increase profitable growth.The Director, Underwriting Advisory will be a critical member of the leadership team and contribute to impacting the future of UWA and GCS, accountable for driving responsible, sustainable, and profitable growth across GCS partner groups.Key Responsibilities:Lead, coach, and empower team of UWA Mangers to deliver project and account level business resultsCollaborate to build winning strategies across peer group for the success of broader teamProvide inventory management and coordinate efficacy of team performanceImplement sales strategies and adapt plans and priorities to address resource and operational challengesMake decisions and resolve issues based upon policies, procedures and business planPartner with peers and senior leaders across GCS to drive engagement, retention, and long-term profitabilityBuild upon a culture of entrepreneurship, integrity, personal development, and enterprise first thinkingSupport the development of talent and career progressionMinimum Qualifications:Critical thinking skills to analyze and develop solutions for complex issues coupled with a track record of innovationShown success leading and developing talent and supporting complex partnershipsStrong financial and analytical savvy; ability to translate data into insightAbility to excel in a multifaceted, fast paced and ambiguous space while influencing thought leadershipIntellectual curiosity that will drive a desire to understand the needs and complexities of our business partnersAbility to directly collaborate directly with our clients to outline options and requirements to support spending capacityStrong customer orientation while ensuring sound credit decision makingExecutive presence and effective communication skills, both written and oralComfortable with some travelEducational Requirement:College degree required with preference in Finance or Accounting (Master s degree or equivalent experience a plus)Min 4 years relevant sales or client management experienceMin 8 years relevant full-time experience in credit or underwritingQualificationsSalary Range: $130,000.00 to $205,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
