  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited educational institution with a degree in the field of Education or Administration
  • Five (5) years of successful teaching instruction and/or administrative experience
  • Working knowledge of District Discipline Procedures
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to conduct, oversee and document disciplinary tribunal hearings in accordance with school board policy
  • Ability to use effective public speaking skills, interaction skills, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to assess, evaluate, and make recommendations for student conduct policies, procedures and goals
  • Reports To: Director of Student Services Supervises: Terms of Employment: Determined by TCBOE Salary: See Salary Scale Job Goal: To assist the Director of Student Services by enforcing school board policy regarding student discipline in a way that enhances the educational process in support of the district's mission. Performance Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Conduct student hearings.
  • Prepare required reports and maintain all records related to the discipline of students as related to the disciplinary hearing process.
  • Communicate, through the proper channels, to keep the Director of Student Services informed of impending problems or events of unusual nature.
  • Supervise and monitor the accurate and timely completion of data collection and reporting requirements related to the disciplinary hearing process.
  • Use effective interpersonal communications skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality as related to the disciplinary tribunal hearing and documentation.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
