Position OverviewThe Discovery Counsel will oversee and manage all aspects of discovery in litigation cases, ensuring compliance with legal standards and optimizing the discovery process.   • Manage and oversee the discovery process in litigation cases.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and legal teams to strategize on document collection and review.
  • Draft categorical privilege logs and ensure proper handling of privileged information.
  • Develop and implement e-discovery processes and tools to streamline document management.
  • Provide guidance on compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to discovery.
  • Conduct training sessions for legal staff on e-discovery practices and technologies.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar membership in relevant jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on e-discovery.
  • Strong understanding of discovery rules and practices, including federal and state laws, EDRM (electronic discovery reference model)
  • Proven experience in drafting privilege logs and managing privilege issues during discovery.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
