St. Norbert College (SNC), a nationally-ranked, private, Catholic, liberal arts college is seeking a Lead Dish Room Worker for Ruth's Marketplace. This position is responsible for managing the flow of dishes entering the dish room, rotating working all of the stations in the dish room, re-stocking dishes and silverware, cleaning and other duties as assigned. This is an academic year (9-month position) and does not work during the summer or academic breaks. Occasional weekend help is required for large events. Required Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferably 2 years of experience in an institutional or retail food service industry.
- Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse campus environment or commitment to do so as an employee of St. Norbert College.
- Ability to concentrate and focus in a noisy, damp, warm, and fast-paced environment. This is similar to a fast-paced manufacturing line where dishes are coming into the dish room on a conveyor belt at a constant rate; the ability to work very quickly scraping, stacking, and rinsing dishes is crucial.
- Ability to interact professionally with coworkers and customers, particularly in conflict situations.
- Skilled at setting a good example for others.

- This position works in a damp, hot, and fast moving environment. This position must be physically able to move very quickly at the conveyor window to keep up with dishes coming in. This position is standing 7.5 hours per day. Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 25 lbs. frequently and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
