  • Cleaning & Maintenance: Sweep and mop floors hourly or as needed, ensuring cleanliness at least once daily. Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks to maintain sanitary conditions.
  • Trash Management: Separate and remove trash and garbage, placing it in designated containers. Steam-clean or hose out garbage cans as needed.
  • Dishwashing: Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand. Scrape food from dirty dishes and either wash them by hand or place them in racks or on a conveyor for the dishwashing machine. Run glasses through the dish machine twice to ensure cleanliness.
  • Utensil & Equipment Care: Polish silver using a burnishing-machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, or hand cloth as required. Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas using a hand truck or by hand.
  • Banquet Support: Set up banquet tables as needed.
  • Food Preparation Support: Wash and peel vegetables using a knife or peeling machine when required.
  • Safety Compliance: Understand and comply with OSHA regulations. Always wear safety glasses when handling chemicals.
  • Stock Management: Put away and rotate stock, ensuring proper storage and organization.
  • Team Communication: Maintain effective communication with co-workers and management. Report to work on time, in uniform, and in accordance with company policy.
  • Guest Interaction: Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner, contributing to a positive atmosphere.
  • Company Policies: Know and comply with all company policies and procedures related to this position.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as required or requested by management.

Education & Experience:
  • Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED required.
Hours:
  • Flexible Schedule: Due to the nature of the business, scheduling may vary and include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
  • Medium Work: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly. Significant walking or standing is required.
Physical Activity:
  • Physical Demands: Includes climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, typing, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
Visual Acuity Requirements:
  • Visual Accuracy: Must have the visual acuity to ensure the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of assigned tasks, such as custodial work, food services, and general labor.
Environmental Conditions:
  • Indoor Work: Primarily indoors with protection from weather conditions, though not necessarily from temperature changes.
  • Temperature Extremes: Exposure to high temperatures that can cause discomfort, requiring exceptional protection. Subject to noticeable temperature changes that may cause bodily reactions.
  • Wet & Humid Conditions: Exposure to wet and humid conditions, which may cause discomfort due to moisture content.
