**Description**
Sanibel Captiva Beach Resorts currently is looking to hire individuals for our **Dishwasher/Lavaplattos position** at West Wind Island Resort 3345 W. Gulf Dr. Sanibel, FL 33957.
**FULL-TIME POSITION**

**Requirements**
Dishwashers clean pans, pots, dishes, and other elements used in a kitchen or restaurant. They need to operate the dishwashing machine or wash dishes by hand, and maintain the entire kitchen clean. These workers scrape, sort, and stack dirty dishes, load them into the dishwashing machine and then add soap to turn it on. Once the cleaning operation is complete, they unload the dishes and put them in their places to be reused again.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Load, run and unload dish machine.
* Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
* Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
* Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.
* Keep dish room clean and organized.
* Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for the service.
* Bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster at designed times.
* Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
* Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
* Clean food preparation and production areas as required.
* Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the Executive Chef, Sous Chefs or immediate supervisor.
* General cleaning duties.
* Attends all scheduled employee meetings.
* Other restaurant tasks as required by management or leadership
* Clean dining rooms and guests bathrooms, if needed
