Description Tucker's Restaurant is currently seeking a Dishwasher! The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and have a strong work ethic. Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipmentKeep the dish area and equipment clean and organized. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Load, run and unload dish machine. • Keep dish machine clean & report any functional or mechanical problems immediately. • Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle. • Wash all silverware and maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room & kitchen. • Take trash out at the end of your shift, or when needed during your shift, to dumpster. • Handle tableware carefully thereby keeping breakage and loss to a minimum. • Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies. • Clean food preparation and productions areas as required. • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the manager or immediate supervisor. • Light prep responsibilities will be assigned in down times. Requirements
- No previous restaurant experience required
- Be available to work in a hot environment for long periods of time during the summer.
- Be physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop.
- Be able to safely lift bags, cases and stacks weighing up to 50 pounds.
