Job Type Full-time Description Description The Renaissance Des Moines Savery Hotel is currently seeking a dynamic, experienced and motivated individual for the position of Dishwasher at our StepStone Hospitality managed hotel. This candidate should demonstrate excellent organizational & communication skills, a strong proficiency in multi-tasking with hospitality sales experience essential. • Load, run and unload dish machine • Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately. • Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle • Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware • Keep dish room clean and organized • Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen • Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss. • Segregate and remove trash and garbage and place all in designated containers and haul to dumpster • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or by use of hand truck. • Perform basic food prep as needed. • Clean food preparation and production areas as required. • Maintain health and sanitation standards. Requirements • Minimum lifting of 70 pounds. • Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity. • Hearing. • Minimum pulling of 70 pounds. Other duties may be assigned. • Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions. • Must have a knowledge of applicable Federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations. • High school education and/or relevant training and experience preferred. • CPR training and first aid training preferred. • Additional language ability preferred.
