- Be an instructor in the subject of work to all who come to Goodwill for training or job placement assistance. In that work ethic is more caught than taught , you will teach others through your own work ethic and passion for quality.
- Washes and stores properly all dishes, eating utensils, pots, pans, bakeware, and other equipment for the department.
- Maintains the dish pit area and dish machine in a sanitary, safe, and efficient manner.
QualificationsEXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS:
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Prior dishwashing experience in a large-volume commercial kitchen
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and public relations.
- Ability to work with a team or individually.
- Ability to recognize the importance of contributing to a team environment and support other team members to provide excellence to customers.
- Familiar with principles of safety and sanitation
EDUCATION:High School diploma or equivalent. WORKING CONDITIONS:The needs of the hospitality department dictate the ability to work a flexible schedule to coincide with the needs of various events.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to stand for long periods; must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a repetitive basis. Frequent bending, lifting, stooping, and carrying of equipment, bus boxes, trays, and other objects. Ability to work in hot, damp environments
