Dishwasher Responsibilities:

  • Assure sanitation and quality standards are met by following cleaning, storage, and food preparation according to policy and procedures, and as directed by Nutrition Services Manager.
  • Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, service areas, hospitality carts according to the cleaning schedule, policy, and procedures, and as directed by Nutrition Services Manager.
  • Verify and document appropriate temperature and sanitizer level logs for dish washing equipment using approved procedures, notifying supervisor for any incorrect levels.
  • Distribute and store clean items.
  • Empty trash receptacles as required.
  • Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience preferred.
  • Must have fundamental understanding of sanitation, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
  • Must be able to tactfully communicate with co-workers, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the general public.
  • Must have regular, predictable, and dependable attendance.
