The Dishwasher responsibilities include collecting used dishes, plates and utensils, loading washing machines and stacking washed items appropriately.To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Required QualificationsAbility to work days, nights and weekendWork experience as a DishwasherHands-on experience with industrial washing machinesAbility to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as neededTime management skillsPossesses a strong attention to detailFamiliar with sanitation rulesAvailability to work in shifts, during weekends and eveningsHigh school diploma is a plusPossesses a valid driver's license (Preferred)Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesInclude the following:Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areasLoad and unload dishwashing machinesWash specific items by hand (i.e. wooden cutting boards, large pots and delicate china)Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriatelySet up workstations before meal preparation beginsEnsure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hoursCheck washing machines' operation and promptly report any technical/performance issuesRemove garbage regularlySanitize the kitchen area, including the floorOther DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
