Essential Job Functions:
- Prepares tableware for washing, removing food residue with a scraper and emptying liquids left in glasses as needed.
- Sorts tableware and loads in racks to maximize cleanliness and minimize breakage.
- Sets up and operates dishwashing machine.
- Sets up and breaks down the workstation.
- Unloads racks and puts away tableware, drying if required.
- Scrubs cooking utensils and storage of kitchen supplies.
- Reports breakage to supervisor.
- Operates equipment in safe and sanitary manner.
- Keeps kitchen area clean at all times, by sweeping and mopping the floor, pressure cleaning, organizing the station.
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge and understanding of the food service/restaurant industry
- Empties garbage receptacles and cleans as necessary.
- Sprays and relines trashcans when needed.
- Must be energetic, self-motivated and positive team player that takes personal pride in providing superior customer service.
- Wears proper uniform at all times.
