The guest's experience is very important to us - they're why we keep doing what we're doing. At Goode Company the Busser is key to making that happen. You understand the fine balance of service and help provide exceptional service to our customers in a timely, courteous, efficient, and accurate manner. The Busser resets dining room tables to maximize prompt table availability for our guests, removes plates, glassware, and silverware when guests have completed their meal, as well as quickly and efficiently re-sets and re-stocks the table for new guests. Our Bussers are polite and friendly to guests, and co-workers alike, and understand the importance of maintaining Goode Company's high sanitation standards. You keep your work station clean and sanitary at all times, because you know it is a direct reflection on you. The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma and previous experience is preferred. Fluent English speaking and writing skills, good time management skills, hospitality skills and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Setup and breakdown of dish room
- Assisting with parking lot and dining area cleaning
- Stocking of all food items and paper goods that arrive from our vendors
- Assisting in stocking and restocking of all beer and ice in beer coolers
- Assisting in removal of all trash as needed throughout the shift
- Help to stock wood safely and efficiently
- Communicate any maintenance issues to managers as soon as noticed
- Present a professional and clean appearance at all times
- Communicate any needs to management needed to be able to perform the job as expected
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must display exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Must take pride in your work, have a keen eye for detail, and be accountable to yourself and to our customers.
- Punctual and reliable attendance
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
- Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
- Knowledge of general sanitary and safety practices
- Able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
