DISHWASHERThe Leonardo seeks a Dishwasher to join our team and mission to fuse science, technology, and art in experiences that inspire creativity and innovation in people of all ages and backgrounds.Pay Rate : $15 per hour plus tipsSchedule : Part-time, Hours vary depending on event schedule and may include nights, weekends, and holidaysReports to : Director of Hospitality & SalesBENEFITSFun company culture with passionate coworkers who embody our core values of curiosity, creativity, commitment, and connectionStrong sense of purpose as we positively impact the lives of youth and adults across the state of UtahVibrant, mission-led organization with opportunity for growthFree mus eum membership and ticketsAnd more!WHAT YOU'LL DO DAY-TO-DAY — As Dishwasher, you'll:Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment using both automatic dishwashers and by hand.Properly sort and stack clean items and ensure they are stored appropriately.Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the dishwashing machine and sinks.Assist with kitchen maintenance tasks, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning surfaces, and emptying trash.Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.Support kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as needed.Comply with sanitation and safety procedures and regulations.Assist in setting up and breaking down event catering equipment and materials, as necessary.Additional responsibilities as neededWHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED:No previous experience required, as on-the-job training will be providedMust be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks occasionallyMust be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds regularly, up to 75 pounds occasionally, over 75 pounds rarely)Good organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environmentA team player with good communication skillsMust be able to flexibly work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by event scheduleABOUT THE LEONARDOThe Leonardo Museum of Creativity & Innovation was created to honor and embody the spirit of Leonardo da Vinci, the Renaissance man.
