Location Zanti The Woodlands Shift Rotating Days and Evenings Description We are looking for a Dishwasher as a part of the BOH teamAs a dishwasher, you will provide our guests with spotless cutlery, plates, and glassware. The dishwasher is committed to clean and works diligently to maintain the highest level of cleanliness in the kitchen areas. Dishwashers perform a lot of manual labor, so good physical strength and stamina is useful. Our company will rely on you to provide our guests and employees with a spotless interior and exterior atmosphere where everything is well-ordered. You'll become a critical component of upholding our company culture and image all while helping us to look and feel our absolute best through the ambiance of our restaurant, providing superior cleaning skills. You will keep the restaurant running smoothly by loading, running, and unloading the dish machine, and always maintaining adequate levels of clean tableware. Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant.Main Duties•Clean is your middle name so you're responsible for keeping the dish room sparkling and organized, the kitchen floors and dining room hallways mopped and sanitized, and monitoring sanitation buckets and production areas•You'll keep pots, pans, and kitchen tools clean and ready always for the line cooks to create delicious dishes for our guests•Organization and efficiency are important as you quickly rinse, wash, pre-sort and deliver clean dishes to the kitchen and dining room•Cleans the inside of the kitchen to provide a pleasant, safe environment for guests and co-workers.•Cleans around the outside of the building and the parking lot when is need it.•Empties trash into the dumpster and keeps the dumpster, trash cans and back dock area clean.•Thoroughly cleans and organizes the utility area.•Performs duty roster and ensures cleanliness, services, and quality standards are met.•Follow proper rules of hygiene and food safety measures.•Work with management team to address maintenance needs inside and outside of the restaurant.Specific Responsibilities•Follows local health department laws.•Operates various mechanized cleaning equipment and tools related with the kitchen area.•Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.•Report any needed repairs immediately to manager (such as leaky faucets or toilets, missing nuts, or screws, etc.).•Empty trash bins on a regular basis and pick up trash in the parking area of the restaurant.•Responsible for disposal of trash and other disposable materials.•Always monitor the dish machine. Keep it clean, monitor the wash cycle to ensure it is sanitary and effective, and report any problems immediately•Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss•Stocks Cook, Line, and Server areas with appropriate glasses, silverware, and dishes.•Maintains excellent organization, speed, and cleanliness.•Brings equipment and facility problems to the attention of the Manager.•Basic and deep cleaning, including cleaning of all common areas, entrances, walkways, furniture, fixtures, etc.•Check all trash containers prior to moving it, empty and properly dispose of all trash•Cleaning includes dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, gum removal, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor and spot cleaning glass•Perform daily kitchen sanitation and deep cleaning of the restaurant, floors, bathrooms, and grounds.•Properly handle cleaning chemicals following all safety guidelines and procedures. This includes safe use, storage, and disposal of chemicals. Alert management when cleaning supplies need to be reordered•Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures and laws including health and safety standards.The above job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position.
