The Dishwasher's duties include but are not limited to:The Dishwasher is responsible for ensuring the effective cleaning and organizing of the Back of the House, especially all items related to food preparation, cooking and service, as well as the cleanliness of the Front of House prior to operating hours.
- Ensure the availability of clean dishes by washing dishes, pots, pans, flatware, and storing these items.
- Cleaning of machines and appliances used in the kitchen and bar.
- Unloading and storing deliveries.
- Cleaning the Front of the House and bathrooms prior to service.
- Sweeping and mopping floors in the kitchen, dish pit and storage areas.
- Taking out the trash and rinsing trash cans.
- Reporting kitchen accounts or violations of food safety codes and procedures.
- Any other duties relating to supporting and assisting staff members with other tasks, as needed.
- Basic maintenance on the inside and on the outside on the property.
- Adhere to kitchen health standards and food safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimal work experience.
- Current Texas Food Handler's Certification
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to walk, stand and work in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
- Able to work during peak times, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
