Kennebec Valley Community Action Program (KVCAP), which seeks to strengthen individuals, families and communities through direct services and community collaborations that create solutions to poverty, is looking to hire a part-time Dishwasher at Educare Central Maine in Waterville. This is a Monday through Friday, 20 hour a week position.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of the kitchen and site team
- Follow established standards/regulations of CACFP, Head Start, Child Care, OSHA and ServSafe for food safety, dishwashing and sanitation practices
- Support meal services for children and food for meetings by assisting with basic food preparation tasks, food delivery, dish pick-up, and timely cleaning of dishes
- Assist in maintaining food and supply inventory

- Experience in food service operation
- Knowledge of food/safety sanitation regulations; ServSafe Certification preferred
- Ability to relate positively to children and adults
- Ability to lift 50 pound containers and packages, and to regularly sit, speak, listen, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel or crouch
- Ability to pass a physical examination, background checks including fingerprinting
Compensation details: 14.25-14.25 Hourly Wage
