Job Description Responsibilities: - wash dishes at a fast pace. - Assist with food preparation and ensure all ingredients are properly stored and labeled - Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment - Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure the safety of all food served - Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area - Collaborate with the catering and banquet teams to ensure timely and efficient service Experience: - Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred - Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team - Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices Skills: - Kitchen operations: Ability to operate kitchen equipment, follow recipes, and execute cooking techniques - Help: Willingness to assist other team members as needed, including bussing tables or supporting catering events - Cook: Proficiency in cooking various types of dishes, following recipes, and ensuring food quality - Bussing: Ability to clear tables, clean dining areas, and maintain a neat appearance in the restaurant - Food preparation: Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques such as chopping, slicing, and marinating - Cleanliness: Commitment to maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment following proper sanitation guidelines - Hospitality: Understanding of customer service principles and ability to provide excellent service to guests Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
