Island Entertainment, Inc. dba Spring House Hotel located on Block Island, RI in Washington County: Temporary, Full-time, 05/01/2025-10/31/2025, at least 38 hours p/week, 5 days per week, days and shifts may vary; 6:30am-3pm and/or 4pm-11pm. (6) Openings. Will train to wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, food preparation equipment and clean kitchen area and take out trash. $14.73 p/hour or $22.10 p/hour for overtime as it may be available. No education or prior work experience is required. On-the-job training is provided. Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 p/day during travel to a maximum of $59 p/day with receipts. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Employer will use a single work week for computing wages starting Friday at 12:01 am and ending Thursday at 11:59 pm and the employee will be paid on Friday (weekly) by company check. H-2B workers will be provided with reimbursement by company check during the first workweek for visa, visa processing and related costs, except passport costs. All deductions required by law will be deducted weekly.Lodging may beavailable through the employer. If housing is provided by employer,employee cost for housing is $110.00 p/week and is paid directly byemployee to employer each pay period. A $300 refundable damage securitydeposit is to be paid to the employer at the start of employment.Deposit is refundable if the housing unit is left in the same conditionas when received - cleaned, all personal items removed, all itemssupplied and still in place, outside cleaned (if applicable), nodamages. Housing is optional.Meals are available for a 50% discount when working. No transportation is provided to worksite.
