Job Summary: The Dispatch Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's dispatch operations to ensure efficient and safe delivery of propane to our customers. This role involves strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership to achieve performance and safety targets.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement dispatch strategies in line with company objectives.
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the dispatch center, including scheduling, staffing, and maintenance of the fleet.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
* Monitor performance against key metrics and take corrective actions as necessary.
* Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, and shipping.
* Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers.
* Direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management.
* Implement specific customer requirements, such as internal reporting or customized transportation metrics.
* Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
* Participate in carrier management processes, such as selection, qualification, or performance evaluation.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent
* Proven experience in a dispatch or logistics management role.
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage teams.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of the propane industry and relevant regulations is preferred.
* Proficiency in logistics software or transport management systems.
Working Conditions:
* The role may require occasional travel to various dispatch sites.
* Must be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
