Woodford Oil Company sell a full line of petroleum products & motor fuels to retail service stations & convenience stores, as well as commercial, industrial, mining and farming industries. Woodford Oil Company proudly markets to customers in West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania. Woodford Oil Company is looking for a full-time Assistant Transportation dispatcher and Operations support at our Morgantown, WV Terminal.Position: This is a full-time position that will be providing dispatch support/Plant Manager for petroleum hazmat drivers and assisting with bulk plant operations. Primary Job Duties: •Collaborate with dispatch team to schedule daily work for the fleet •Receive and dispatch orders from customers for the product delivery •Evaluate, decide and direct drivers and warehouse staff on workflow •Prioritize jobs in order of urgency and importance •Monitor the daily workflow of drivers and warehouse operations •Ensure all loads are covered and dispatched effectively and timely •Assist with incoming loads into the facility •Assist with counter sales for walk-in customers •Assist with billing department to complete all required documentation Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:•Must be detail orientated, organized and have excellent multi-tasking skills •Must work well in fast-paced environment •Proficiency in computer skills •Must have good communication skills •Must be able to work in a team environment •Must be organized and willing to work some weekends •Knowledge and prior experience in dispatching preferred, but not required •Knowledge or experience in wholesale distribution a plus Education: High School diploma or equivalent Benefits:•Competitive starting salary •Group Health Insurance Plan with a portion paid by Woodford Oil Company •Paid vacation, paid time off and company recognized Holidays •401 (k) plan w/company match Experience: •Dispatching: 1 year (Preferred) •Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
