Job Description:

Millennium Health LLC is an accredited specialty laboratory with more than a decade of experience in medication monitoring and drug testing services, helping clinicians monitor the use and misuse of prescription medications and illicit drugs. The testing is used by healthcare professionals to obtain objective information about patients' recent use of prescription medications and/or illicit drugs and helps monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans.

The Scheduler has the authority to act on behalf of the company on a day-to-day basis to coordinate Laboratory Service Assistant (LSA) schedules in keeping with the LSA service level expectations. It is vital that the person responsible for this position is familiar with and understands all applicable client requirements. The ideal candidate will possess healthcare administrative and clerical support experience, be a self-starter, thrive in a fast-paced customer-centric environment and embrace MH company values.

  • The Scheduler plans, schedules, and assigns LSA to practice locations in partnership with the Field Service Manager.
  • Prioritizes staff resources and/or book travel reservations to meet coverage requirements.
  • Manages scheduled and unscheduled time off from LSA staff and ensures appropriate practice coverage.
  • Communicate with the Field Service Manager and Sales Rep regarding changes to LSA coverage at a practice.
  • Partners with the Field Service Manager to review new hiring requests to determine staffing needs.
  • Manages and updates schedules and practice details in Salesforce.com.
  • Monitors and tracks the progress of dispatched shifts to ensure proper coverage.
  • Addresses and resolves scheduling conflicts or issues promptly.
  • Ability to ensure HIPAA, Confidentiality, and Compliance policies, procedures, and standards are always adhered to.
  • Ability to ensure administrative, physical, and technical cyber security controls are always adhered to.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1-2 years in customer service or similar role where ownership of managing the customer experience was/is emphasized. Healthcare/biotech experience preferred.
  • Advanced customer service, problem-solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills focusing on quality and professionalism.
  • Ability to effectively address inbound calls, Live Chat, case, and email volume.
  • Ability to follow and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and/or Dept. policies
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with customers, partners, and peers.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and follow through on tasks, projects, and assignments.
  • Self-starter, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Previous experience using scheduling tools such as Salesforce Field Service is a plus.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.

Potential Hiring Range:

  • Salary Range: $20-$22/hr. or $41,600– $45,760/yr.
  • Salary offered is dependent on qualifications, experience, and geographical location.
