Trillium Drivers is now seeking a Dispatch Supervisor in Nashville! The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that transportation operates smoothly and efficiently. The Dispatch Supervisor oversees tasks that range from coordinating delivery schedules to managing driver pick up routes and ensuring compliance of various safety and DOT regulations. The Dispatch Supervisor must be detail-oriented with strong management skills, excellent communication skills, and have a depth of experience in the transportation industry. Responsibilities: -Collaborates with sourcing, warehouse, donors, and teams across the organization (community impact, agency partners, operations, inventory control, volunteer engagement) using transportation software for scheduling and route improvement. -Ensures compliance with safety policies (OSHA, DOT Fleet Safety) and independently manages incidents, including reporting and response. -Conducts ride-along with drivers to coach on safety and efficiency, reporting findings to the Director of Transportation. -Works with Fleet Maintenance Coordinator and Transportation Specialist to ensure DOT compliance and equipment maintenance, while managing performance data, KPIs, and cost reporting for continuous improvement. -Current CDL-A driver's license with copy of current auto insurance and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) results needed. Schedule is Monday - Friday, 5:00 am - 1:00 pm. Occasional evenings and/ or weekends may be required for meetings or special events. Occasional duties may be necessary to respond to issues, outside of normal working hours (e.g., disaster response, community events, etc). Occasional daytime travel needed, up to 50% of work week within the local service area. Pay rate is $26.50 per hour. Apply now! Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred. -3+ years of related experience and/or training preferred. -Licensed Class A CDL required. -A minimum of 3 years' experience as Class A CDL Driver. -A minimum of 3 years' experience in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field. -5+ years of related experience and/ or management training required.
