The Supervisor, Life. Flight Communications is responsible for day to day operations of the Communications Center. Supervisor will function as a System Status Controller when needed and handle staff and customer service needs. Essential Job Functions. Monitors and manages dispatch operations in real time. Ensures availability of resources for daily operations. Demonstrates critical thinking abilities when triaging patient transports and making decisions. Makes decisions in an independent and high stress environment. Assist in tactical level of deployment to meet system needs including maintaining and managing employee schedules. Receive, handle, and route inter-agency disputes/issues to the appropriate resource. Provides patient/client follow-up. Assists with the investigative process for handling and reviewing incidents and issues.
