Dispatcher - AM and PM
Responsibilities:
- Handle client calls and communicate issues with drivers and management as necessary
- Monitor radio, telephones, and on-road service provision for quality
- Influence positive employee morale and quality customer service
- Complete driver sign-in and sign-out daily
- Assign trips to drivers to ensure adequate distribution of trips between routes
- Monitor daily system performance and participate in operating performance analysis
- Report closed or late starting routes to Dispatch Supervisors and/or Dispatch Managers
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- One year previous Dispatcher experience preferred
- Two years of Customer Service experience preferred
- Ability to obtain a CDL B with Airbrakes and Passenger endorsement
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure
- Demonstrate a high customer service commitment
- Professional phone manner
- Knowledge of the service area is a plus
