USESI is currently searching for a Dispatcher to join the team in its Middletown, CT central distribution center.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Keep customer information up to date
* Keep truck information up to date (ex. Registration)
* Provide daily reports on mileage and fuel (IFTA)
* Maintain driver and route list
* Efficiently Route Daily Orders based upon established business rules
* Recommend required drivers and trucks for the daily volume
* Create manifests and produce delivery paperwork
* Maintain and monitor GPS software (NavMan)
* Coordinate returning drivers for pickups and second runs
* Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to special projects and cross training
* First Shift hours TBD
Qualifications:
* Proficient understanding of maximizing volume in a truck
* Task oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
* Ability to communicate with both internal and external customers
* Dispatch Experience a plus
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Customer Service Experience required
* DOT Knowledge a plus
* High school diploma equivalent
Job type: Full-time
Shift : Monday - Friday 3 pm - 12 am
