Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Impact Staffing International (ISI) is looking for a skilled Truck Dispatcher with 5+ years of experience as a dispatcher dealing with truck drivers onsite in Irving, Texas. This position is responsible for managing the fleet of drivers for deliveries and scheduling routes for 3 drivers. They need excellent communication skills, a detail-oriented mindset, a great multi-tasker, and someone who is very organized. They will be keeping records, monitoring driver daily logs for errors and violations, and monitoring equipment availability. This candidate needs experience with ERP software. They will be onsite from 5AM-4PM daily. It's very important for this person to understand how truck drivers operate. On a rare occasion, this person might need to help load a truck or make a delivery. We are looking for someone who has a go-getter attitude and can thrive in this fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Background:

5+ years of experience as a dispatcher

• ERP system experience or similar tracking software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Efficient time management skills to ensure the highest level of customer service
• Must be comfortable with making decisions and flexible to changing needs
• Highly organized with attention to detail and a sense of urgency
• Ability to multi-task and perform effectively under pressure
• Enthusiasm, strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual (Spanish)

Physical Demands:

Must pass a background check and drug test

Possibly lift up to 50 lbs

Valid driver's license- may need to help make a delivery
