DC DispatcherReports To: ManagerDirect Reports: NoStatus: Full-TimeSalariedDivision: Distribution CenterJob Purpose:The Distribution Center Dispatcher is responsible for expediting shipments to meet cutoff times for orders.Key Job Responsibilities:
- Manage shipping and receiving of merchandise, including delivery to customer locations within a 45-minute window.
- Assemble and fulfill customer orders, ensuring proper matching of invoices to shipments.
- Scheduling delivery driver routes and monitoring arrival and departure times according to business needs.
- Scheduling contract drivers based on business needs.
- Managing tote packing, pallet building, wrapping, and tagging.
- We are monitoring the shipping queue and communicating concerns with the picking Team Lead/Manager.
- Using last-mile software to ensure timely deliveries.
Requirements:
- High School Degree or GED
- 1 to 2 years of warehouse experience or similar discipline
- Proficient at multitasking and making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with RF Scanners is preferred.

Environmental/Occupational Health and Physical Requirements:To perform the duties of this job the employee must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment and must be able to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
