LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking Night Shift Dispatchers for MULTIPLE openings. Ideal candidates will be available to start on October 28th, 2024 (or sooner). As a Transportation Coordinator/Dispatcher, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating our transportation operations during the night and weekend shifts. After a two-week training period, this position will be fully remote. You will ensure timely delivery, maintain communication with drivers, and provide excellent customer service to our clients. Title: Transportation Coordinator/Dispatcher (Nights & Weekends) Type: Temp-to-hire Location: Remote (After Initial Training Period on-site Eden Prairie, MN for 2 weeks) Training Schedule (on-site): Monday- Friday 4:00 pm to 12:00 am (CST) Post-Training Schedule will include nights/weekends, but will remain Remote Compensation: $19.00 to $19.50 per/hour Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and dispatch transportation requests efficiently and accurately.
- Monitor driver schedules and communicate with drivers regarding routes, delays, and issues.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking and documentation.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize logistics operations and enhance service quality.
- Utilize transportation management software to track and manage shipments.
- Analyze transportation metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associates or bachelors degree in logistics or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in transportation coordination, dispatch, or logistics is a plus, but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using technology and transportation management systems.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work nights and weekends.
Pay Details: $19.00 to $19.50 per hour
