Staffmark is hiring a Dispatcher to join our team in Pearland, TX. If you have strong communication and multitasking skills, this could be your next great opportunity! As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations by coordinating and tracking deliveries, handling incoming calls, and providing key information to drivers.
Pay: $17 to $18 per hour (Based on experience)
Shift: 1st Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
Dispatcher Responsibilities:
* Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls and requests.
* Receive and record delivery requests, dispatching orders for products.
* Address problems and relay information to the necessary parties for resolution.
* Monitor the progress of deliveries and ensure timely assistance as needed.
* Provide drivers with crucial details about orders, traffic, obstacles, and delivery requirements.
* Quote job prices and manage priorities based on urgency.
* Communicate clear, concise information to ensure drivers understand their routes and expectations.
Dispatcher Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* 1+ years of experience as a dispatcher or in a similar role.
* Strong typing skills and experience with data entry.
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
* Active listener with strong communication abilities.
* Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in high-paced situations.
