The Dispatcher will analyze trips, ensure a driver is available and provide an estimated arrival time.This position is 100% onsiteWhat Youll Do:Work closely with Lead Dispatchers to provide trip updates and estimated time of arrivalAssist with Driver AssignmentsMaintain effective communication with members and DispatchProvide excellent customer service by addressing member inquiries and concernsKeep members informed about the status of their driver and verify all information before disconnectingEnsure that all transportation operations comply with procedure and eligibilityCollaborate with Dispatch/Supervisor if passengers experiencing issues or have grievancesEstablish and maintain effective communication with transportation providersProvide feedback to leadership and Management on transportation providers performancePractice and follow all compliance guidelinesOther duties as assignedWhat Youll need:High School Diploma or G.E.D.1 year of customer service experienceMust be 18 years of age or olderEven better if you have...2+ years in transportation routing, dispatching, and scheduling expertise, preferred1 year experience working with the applicable transit scheduling system, preferredAbility to adapt to changing circumstances, including weather-related disruptions, unexpected delays, or unforeseen issuesSeek opportunities to enhance transportation processes, streamline operations, and improve efficiencyAbility to communicate clearly with clients, drivers, and vendorsAbility to work well with others and be a team playerAbility to work in a fast-paced work environment.Ability to maintain a high level of confidentialityExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of GPS and GIS systems preferredGood organizational skillsDetail orientedAbility to meet deadlines and complete work in a timely mannerSkilled in the use of computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft applicationsMust be able to demonstrate effective use of scheduling software, communication and data analysis skills
