Role and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the timely progression of a small fleet of vehicles through established daily schedules/routes.
  • Coordinate customer pick up time and location with company driver availability and location.
  • Call customers to confirm their appointments; respond to customers calling to confirm their appointments.
  • Communicate directly to company drivers with information about upcoming rides or schedule changes.
  • Work directly with the scheduling department updating customer information or recurring rides.
  • Record passenger or driver incidents and report to management.
Preferred Skills
  • Organized with an ability to communicate a plan clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to assess multiple situations simultaneously, assess level of urgency, and prioritize solutions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Maps (or similar).
  • An honest desire to assist our customers and drivers in a friendly, understanding, and helpful manner.
General Description You will be in constant communication with our customers, drivers, and the facilities we serve via phone, email, and our dispatching software. You will coordinate passenger pick-up times and locations, drop-off locations and appointment times with driver availability through our dispatch and scheduling software. The typical day starts with a general schedule made for most drivers with additional rides or will calls added in throughout the day as availability allows. You will call to confirm appointments with customers before the driver arrives and communicate information about the ride to the driver. You will help the scheduling department update customer information such as recurring trip dates, contact, or location information. At times you may be asked to help in various administrative functions around the office such as filing, record keeping, driver credentialing, or local marketing. At times you may also be asked to assist our operations crew with light cleaning and stocking of vehicles, delivering vehicles to drivers or the mechanic, or taking them through a carwash. In very rare and uncommon instances you may be asked to drive a passenger to an appointment or back home. Requirements
  • Pass a NETSTUDY2.0 state/federal background check
  • FIVE (5) years customer service experience
  • Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record
  • Pass pre-employment drug screening and DOT Physical
  • Fluently Communicate in English; Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening
