Our Dispatchers strive for integrity and reliability, while building trusting relationships with team members.What you bring to the tablePrepare and process forms and documents, such as time sheets, requisitions, purchase orders, DVIR's, shipping labels, etc. following standard procedures.Collect, track and input data relative to Operations metrics. (Including but not limited to; shorts, mispicks, dump/damage, service level, associate over-time)Maintain files, record keeping activities and confidential data.Ensure driver paperwork is complete and routes are dispatched on time.Create and maintain basic charts, graphs, spreadsheets, and databases.Prepare summary information for manager's review.Prepare and update recurring and routine internal reports, collect and verify data.Check documents for accuracy and completeness, cross reference information.Verify information and data for compliance with regulations and procedures.Monitor inventory levels of office supplies; initiate purchase orders, as necessary.Other duties as assigned by management.Education/Training:High School Diploma/GED requiredRelated Experience/Requirements:Must be able to refer to documentation or manuals/guidelines to resolve issues and have a foundation of process to provide some general assistance.Must have good computer skills; mainframe downloads; report generation; data entry and word processing skills.Must be able to resolve a variety of issues/topics of moderately complex routine nature with some independence.Must have working knowledge of DOT regulations and driver's logs.Must be organized and detailed; and have legible handwriting.Must be able to manage several things at once.Must have (2) years transportation experienceYour efforts as a Dispatcher are the foundation that defines US FOODS ® success based on our pillars of cultural beliefs, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service.BECOME A US FOODS® TEAM MEMBER!Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.
