Summary We are currently seeking a best in class Dispatcher with excellent organization skills and a personable disposition to schedule and manage all deliveries thereby ensuring products arrive at jobsite when needed. You will also coordinate other outbound and inbound deliveries from sales yards or plants. May also provide direction and supervision to drivers and forklift operators. The ideal candidate has a natural ability to roll with the punches, being flexible to handle anything that might come their way. You will be a strong and reliable support to company operations, maintaining procedures, communication and customer service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned) This is a safety sensitive position. - Schedule outbound deliveries of product to jobsites and transfers to other locations and assign to local, backhaul and/or contract trucks. May also oversee delivery of inbound deliveries to the local sales yard or plant.
- Communicate with customer, company associates and management regarding shipment of orders including service and shipping issues as well as complaint resolution.
- Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
- Receives brick, stone, and other masonry materials into inventory through the operating system.
- Compiles data from sources such as contracts, purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports and writes, types, or enter information into computer to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping or other records.
Skills and Experience Required for Success - 2 years of related experience
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel (JDE experience preferred)

Education - High school diploma or equivalent required; some college is preferred.
