JENNMAR Services is seeking a Shipping Dispatch for Jennmar Bolt Plant in Earlington, KY plant. This position requires a range of post-production and shipping support functions that include: monitoring/scheduling transport of manufactured product; generating essential shipping documentation; recording production output. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/GED Required; Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred; Minimum two (2) years related experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience; Ross ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems experience preferred; JOB REQUIREMENTS: Personable, outgoing communications and efficient time management skills with ability to multi- task in a fast-paced environment; Planning/detail-oriented organizational skills with ability to prioritize work activities to ensure timely completion; Customer service competency to respond promptly to internal/external requests for service and assistance; Ability to process, maintain and disburse confidential and sensitive information; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with ability to learn and use specific ERP software and other manufacturing software systems relevant to financial and shipping processes; Possess a Team mentality with ability to equitably coordinate, delegate, and monitor the work of others; Dependability to consistently be a work and on time with ability to work a flexible schedule as required;Close visual acuity, near/far vision, multiple limb coordination, and ability to sit for extended periods as needed;Light/medium (up to 20 lbs) lifting capabilityJOB RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKProcess and transmit information and instructions to coordinate and dispatch truck drivers according to written schedules and work orders, or as required by emergency situationsAdvise truck drivers as to route information for new customers or unfamiliar delivery locationsMonitor truck drivers' workloads and location assignmentsEnsure accuracy of truck drivers' time sheets and payroll summaries Maintain records and generate reports of mileage, fuel use, repairs and other expensesAnswer customer inquiries and investigate customer complaints regarding transportation, delivery, or quality of company's products and servicesArrange for refund, exchange, and credit for returned merchandiseWORK ENVIRONMENT: Work performance is conducted in a climate-controlled office that contains office machinery and equipment Office safety and machine/equipment-specific safety procedures are strictly enforced and compliant with government regulationsSafety training, written procedures, and continual improvement measures are implemented to remove or control any physical/environmental hazards that may be present in the work placeEmployee use of personal protective equipment is required for all phases of job performance if needed to prevent bodily injury PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Job performance demands constant application of the following physical requirements: use of hands.Job performance demands frequent application of the following physical requirements: lifting (Avg. 5 lbs.), sitting, walking, reaching, fine manipulation, near vision, verbal interaction, upper- limb coordination.
