Job location: In-house, at our Williamsburg, Brooklyn headquarters. Schedule: Monday–Friday (may include weekends), 8am-5pm Pay Range: $20-$25/hr

Job Overview: PDI Health is seeking a dedicated and reliable Dispatcher to work in our fast paced environment helping to coordinate the routing of our technologists to our client locations to provide Portable X-ray and Ultrasound services. The ideal candidate should possess outstanding organizational skills, be extremely thorough, have the ability to multitask, and communicate effectively to ensure efficient operations and outstanding service delivery. Responsibilities: 1. **Routing and Dispatching**: Effectively route technologists to various locations based on service requests. Monitor and manage the dispatch of services, ensuring timely response and efficient route planning. 2. **Communication**: Act as the primary point of contact for technologists in the field. Provide clear and accurate information about service locations, patient information, and scheduling adjustments. 3. **Scheduling**: Coordinate daily schedules for technologists, ensuring optimal allocation of resources. Be flexible and adaptive, capable of adjusting schedules and routes based on emergencies or unforeseen circumstances. 4. **Customer Service**: Occasionally communicate with nursing home staff or patients' families to provide information, clarify instructions, or resolve scheduling issues. Maintain a professional and empathetic communication style at all times. Qualifications:

  • Prior dispatching experience, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Medical terminology is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Outstanding communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in dispatch software and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with healthcare and privacy regulations is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required.
  • Bilingual Spanish mandatory.
