Riley, and parts of Pottawatomie County.We are hiring immediately for a part-time Dispatcher that is friendly, reliable, and customer-service focused. Join our team!Compensation Range is \$14.00 - \$17.00/hour (pay is dependent on skills and experience).Shift Details - (25-30 hours per week, working every other Saturday)Week 1 - Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 8:00 PMWeek 2 - Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM and Saturday 2:00 PM - 8:00 PMWhat Our Dispatchers Do:Communicates effectively through radio, telephone and computer equipment to provide assistance to Bus Operators and the public.Directs and monitors aTa Bus vehicles and routes.Communicatestraffic problems such as construction areas, accidents, congestion, and weather conditions.Communicates work assignments to Bus Operators and acts as a liaison between Bus Operators and Mechanics.Schedule rides and answer questions with regard to the services we provide.Manage the software that tracks vehicles.Document and maintain files and records.Provide information to internal teams.Additional Information:The job requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at all times.Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion:ATA Bus firmly commits to the communities we serve and our employees.
