Ascend Wellness Holdings (AWH) of Cranberry, PA is looking to hire Part-Time Dispensary Pharmacists!
JOB SUMMARY:
The Dispensary Pharmacist is a registered Pharmacist who is responsible for providing an outstanding patient experience while maximizing revenue goals, assisting the General Manager in leading the development of the dispensary staff, and ensuring compliance with inventory, security, and system protocols. This sales-oriented individual should be enthusiasticabout the benefits of medical cannabis.
Part-Time employees work between 15-29 hours a week.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:
- Become proficient with the point-of-sale system
- Maintain all confidential information according to HIPAA policies and procedures
- Conduct over-the-phone, in-person, and other approved methods of consultations Follow-up to ensure that patients receive accurate and helpful information in a caring and compassionate way
- Mentor, motivate, elevate, and inspire the managers and store staff through continual training on compliance, products
- Continuous investment in learning about our specific products and the ever-evolving research on medical cannabis
- Adhere to and promote a culture of positivity, professionalism and compliance of policies and cannabis rules and regulations
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and execute all company programs for customer service, patient and visitor management, state compliance and safety and security guidelines
- Guide patients and collaborate with employees on cannabis recommendations including product selection, effects, potency, dosing, methods of consumption, and administration
- Effectively and diplomatically manage employee or customer concerns/complaints while interfacing with the GeneralManager and Human Resources
- Report all issues or complaints relating to product to the General Manager in real-time
- Work closely with the General Manager to regularly drive sales, influence product sell-through, and ensure the dispensary of choice among patients
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Successful completion of either a BS Pharm or PharmD from an accredited university
- Must hold an active medical/pharmacy license and be a registered medical professional
- Must have cannabis knowledge and experience
- Must be willing to submit and pass a comprehensive background
- Dedicated team management and personal communication skills
- Ability to thrive within a demanding environment
- Strong compliance and regulation attitude
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- MS Office proficient with ability to utilize and navigate multiple software platforms with ease
- Complete any needed assistance including oversight and coverage outside of assigned region as needed
- Identify opportunities to educate the community on the benefits of cannabis as medicine for the qualifying conditions and develop sales strategies to be successfully implemented
- Must be flexible regarding work schedule and willing to work 3-5 days per week including evenings, weekends, opening and closing
