Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Monitor daily sales activities and provide guidance to ensure a high level of performance.
  • Analyze sales metrics and develop strategies to improve overall sales performance.

Customer Service:

  • Ensure all customers receive exceptional service by being knowledgeable, approachable, and patient.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide product education and recommendations to customers based on their needs and preferences.
  • Deescalate customer conflicts with professionalism, ensuring a positive resolution while maintaining company standards.

Team Management:

  • Assist in training new staff members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and company policies.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Deescalate employee conflicts and mediate disputes, ensuring a harmonious work environment.
  • Enforce policies and procedures mandated by upper management, ensuring all team members are compliant with company standards.

Operations:

  • Assist in maintaining store organization and cleanliness.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
  • Support inventory management, including restocking and conducting regular inventory audits.
  • Drop cash registers at the end of shifts, ensuring all cash is counted accurately.
  • Reconcile cash drawers, verifying that no funds are missing and all transactions are properly accounted for.
  • Ensure merchandising is up to standard, maintaining an organized and aesthetically pleasing sales floor that aligns with Fireleaf's branding.
  • Oversee the presentation of products, ensuring that displays are neat, fully stocked, and visually appealing.

Salary

$22 - $24 USD per hour

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in the cannabis industry or a similar retail environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and other related items.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and manage a sales team effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer issues with professionalism.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic retail operations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and comply with all applicable state regulations.

Desired Skills

  • 1 to 2 years experience in the legal cannabis industry.
  • Experience with inventory management and regulatory compliance.
  • Knowledge of local and state cannabis laws.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus
