Job Description:

A Dispensary Technician role in Morris Plains, NJ is now available through Adecco Medical and Science. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out lab duties mainly focused on assisting the lab in development of beauty solution formulations. Responsible for coordinating the sampling of produced bulk samples as determined by standard operating procedures and policies.

Please note that this a minimum 5-month contact/temp position starting in December 2024. Shift: Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm. The pay rate is $ 26.00/hr.

**Job Description**

- Fulfilling laboratory orders for raw materials.

- Accurately recording raw material amounts in a computer data base.

- Verifying expiration dates before dispensing/disposing of raw materials.

- Weighing up raw materials according to a batch card or data base page.

- Accurately entering long strings of alpha-numeric data into LIMS (data base).

- Maintaining Safety and GMP standards for MP Dispensary and Warehouse.

**Qualifications**

- Minimum high school graduate or equivalent

- Basic math skills are essential - including understanding the concept of percentages and ability to convert between milligrams/grams/kilograms and other weights and measures.

- Must pay close attention to detail.

- Familiarity with LIMS systems a plus.

- Ability to learn while training with an experienced Dispensary person.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision from an experienced Dispensary person.

- Ability to accurately dispense materials within +/- 1% of required weight.

- Ability to work from written and/or verbal instructions.

- Ability to communicate clearly (written and/or verbal).

**Physical Demands/Requirements**

- Ability to safely lift boxes up to weights of to 35lbs and maneuver large, bulky items on a regular basis.

- Ability to follow Safety Rules and requirements, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment.

- Ability to walk frequently between departments, and ability to stand during the entire shift.

- Ability to climb stairs occasionally during the shift.

- Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.

- Ability to routinely follow policies and procedure related to company practices and safety procedures.

- Ability to operate various office equipment and/or machinery.

**Pay Details:** $26.00 per hour
