- Communicate and plan display needs with shop managers in assigned areas
- Collaborate with Shop Managers to complete clothing and merchandise displays and seasonal shop changeovers
- Recognize needed changes in product placement and/or displays on the sales floor and take action to improve them while communicating with shop managers
- Developing floor plans to make the most of the space available
- Teach display to Scheels standards to all associates in assigned area
- Enjoy working creatively in a fast-moving environment
- Researching lifestyle and design trends and making sure designs will appeal to the target audience
- Installing and dismantling displays
- Coordinate the ordering of POP
- Order and maintain body forms throughout the store
- Unload product from freight, tag, fold, hang and price product to be put out on the sales floor
- Restock product on the sales floor
- Maintain orderly appearance of personal work space and surrounding areas. General cleaning and organization around the store and back stock space
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization
- Ability to perform basic math
- Demonstrates strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem solving skills
- Be professional in appearance and attitude, contribute to a positive team atmosphere, and treat others with respect and consideration while following Scheels' policies and procedures
- Strong initiative and vision for continuous improvement while contributing to a positive team atmosphere
- Other duties that may be assigned by supervisor, as needed

Education & Experience:The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's or an associate's degree in merchandising, retailing, fashion management or any other related field of study. Prior experience with display/merchandising is preferred.Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Scheels cares about the health and safety of our Associates.
