Responsibilities:The Disposal WellOperator reports to the Production Foreman. The primary purpose for thisposition is to maintain optimum production from assigned site, performingrequired repairs and maintenance and recording meter/gauge readings on aregular basis. Special focuswill be placed on:Maintains the production rate throughout the systemPerforms daily operational checks of assigned well/production facilityTests wells to determine production rates and problems.Monitors equipment repairs.Performs housekeeping and basic maintenance of well site duties.Operates and maintains central production treatment/storage/compression facilities, and the operation and maintenance of water injection pumps, related equipment, and various utility support systems including oilfield boilers, centrifugal de-sanders and chemical injection equipment.Qualifications:POSITION REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience1 - 4 years of related oil and gas production experience.General knowledge of well operations, including general maintenance practicesAbility to operate independently and manage timeAbility to use basic hand and power tools, as well as lawn equipmentAvailable to work night shiftPhysical Demands/Work EnvironmentAbility to lift 25 lbs.Manual dexterity to operate specialized equipmentField work environment- requires working in a variety of different weather conditions
