Join us.Through insightful technology and services, Itron is helping utilities and cities around the world better manage energy and water for generations to come.Traffic Clerk is primarily responsible for documenting the method of releasing, shipping, and invoicing customer orders at the Oconee, SC facility.Duties & Responsibilities:* Manage the movement of goods and materials. Ensuring timely and accurate deliveries* Secure carriers to pick up loads, knowing weight and dimensions, retrieving 3 quotes and choosing the best quote* Prepare and process shipping documents* Preparing address labels, bill of lading, commercial invoice if required* Arrange freight carriers and schedule delivery appointments* Ensure all shipments comply with relevant regulations and standardsExperience:* Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing or supply chain environment* Experience working with export lists and confirming address is correct and determining where and when materials should be shipped* Experience preparing address labels, bill of lading, commercial invoice if required* Traffic Clerk must be able to manage time and tasks efficiently* Must have professional demeanor and can handle stressful situations while working with carriers* Ability to work overtime hours when needed* 1 year of experience using Microsoft OfficeEducation:High School diploma or equivalentPreferred Skills & Experience:* Adaptable* Documentation skills* Inventory ManagementItron is an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action Employer.
