Job Description:
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be able to take and follow direction.
  • Must be able to provide management and direction to their employees within their assigned areas.
  • Maintain acceptable body hygiene and appearance per employee Hand book and client location standards.
  • Stand for extended periods of time.
  • Physically able to lift, push, pull, bend, kneel, twist, and move rolling carts (up to 600+ lbs.) throughout the day, with ability to load linen above ones head and from ground level to standing upright.
  • Physically able to collect and lift soiled bags throughout the facility.
  • Pack at a speed to complete 20+ exchange carts per day.
  • Distinguish between different linen items through touch and vision.
  • Able to complete duties accurately.
  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Must be able to accurately perform simple mathematics.
  • Must be punctual.
  • Must understand and observe all safety guidelines and recommendations.
  • RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Adjust par levels, making needed adjustments to improve our measured performance.
  • Rounding and monitoring linen levels and customer satisfaction
  • Work with the CSR and Systems Linen Manager to establish Linen committees and Linen awareness days.
  • Fill in for team members when needed
  • Supply EVS Managers with information and ideas on how Vendor intends to improve utilization.
  • Count and pack carts accurately with the needed quantities.
  • Fill out paperwork accurately.
  • Correctly use handheld device and upload information.
  • Monitor productivity records, daily logs and shift schedules.
  • Monitor trucking paperwork and delivery accuracies of scheduled and unscheduled orders.
  • Inform Upper Management of any problematic situations related to operations.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for employees
  • Monitor employee performance, and identify and acknowledge outstanding employee performance.
  • Maintain the established level of soil collection poundage to ensure proper load capacity on carts.
  • Monitor staffing patterns and paperwork to ensure weekly targets are being met.
  • Comply and adhere to the facility's Infection Control Policies.
  • Accomplish daily tasks at the time given by Management.
