This role will provide a department orientation and assess new employees on equipment to ensure skills and knowledge are achieved prior to operating independently. In addition, they will assist Warehouse and Production Supervisors in coordination and completion of annual required training on all shifts. The secondary function of this position is to support cross training initiatives and process improvements within the facilities. This role will work flexible hours as needed and is a safety sensitive position.Essential Duties and Responsibilitieso Facilitates on-the-job training and Distribution Center/Production facility orientation for new and temporary employees o Facilitates on-the-job cross training and certification for experienced employeeso Supports Distribution Center/Production facility related training for safety, GMP, BRC, and CROPP that are required annually o Consults with Distribution Center/Production facility managers and supervisors when determining training and/or development plans and process improvementso Collaborates cross-functionally with employees at different levels of the organizationo Designs and develops training plans for all roles in Distribution Center/Production facility environmentso Trains staff to use proper ergonomic practices for material handling and best safe practices for all warehouse/production work processeso Responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of training reports and recordso Delivers timely retraining when required after incidents occuro Supports safety focuses and annual training completiono Assist on the Distribution Center/Production facility floor and in the office when necessaryAdditional Duties and Responsibilitieso Responsible for distributing, keeping inventory, and ordering replenishment training supplies for the operational areaso Assist in training when changes occur in policy, procedures, regulations, and technology o Other duties assigned by manager/supervisorKnowledge, Skills, and Abilitieso High School diploma or general equivalency degree required.o 2 years experience working in a warehouse environment preferredo 2 years experience as a trainer or in a similar position preferredo Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Procedures, warehouse procedures and operationso Excellent interpersonal communication, organization skills, and strong work ethico Able to work under direct supervision and work independentlyo Able to safely operate all warehouse/production material handling equipment and maintain train the trainer certificationso Knowledge of MS Office, MS Teams, WMS, and SAP softwareo Knowledge of Learning Management System o Occasional lifting of items weighing 50 pounds or less, with the ability to bend, twist, reach, pull and carry items up to 2500 lbs with a material handling equipment.o Frequent periods of time walking and standingo Ability to work in a cooler and/or freezer environmento Must be available to work on weekends, holidays, and nights as required Base hourly wage range: $19.79 per hour - $27.20 per hourThis hourly wage rangeis exclusive of fringe benefits. The compensation package may also includeincentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses. Ifyou are hired at CROPP, your final base hourly wage compensation will be determinedbased on factors such as skills, education, and/orexperience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity andconsider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any finaloffer.
